Pete Yorn announced a solo acoustic tour to mark the 25th anniversary of his debut album, Musicforthemorningafter. The record was released in March 2001. Yorn used TikTok and other social media platforms to share the news with fans.

The original album ran for just under an hour and included 14 tracks. It featured three singles and became a staple in the disc changers of listeners across the United States. The music blended rock, pop, and folk. It resonated with late-Gen-X audiences during the pre-Great Recession era.

Yorn is 52 years old. To commemorate the milestone, he released a deluxe digital version of the album. This new edition includes fresh live recordings. Those tracks were recorded at Jack White’s Third Man Records in Nashville.
