Evanescence will release a remastered and expanded edition of its second studio album, The Open Door, on Nov. 6. The anniversary package includes the original 13 tracks plus four additional recordings from the 2006 era.

The album originally dropped on Sept. 25, 2006. It debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 after moving more than 447,000 copies in its first week. The record followed the band's 2003 debut, Fallen, and introduced a mix of orchestral, electronic, and heavy rock elements.

New material in the 2026 release includes the rarities 'If You Don't Mind,' 'Together Again,' and 'The Last Song I'm Wasting On You.' A previously unreleased demo of 'Good Enough' completes the bonus tracklist. The collection will be available on CD, digital platforms, and two-LP vinyl.

Frontwoman Amy Lee addressed the album's impact in a statement. "The Open Door was such an important time for me, pushing boundaries and feeding my desire to experiment and grow," Lee said. She noted that the music continues to resonate with listeners two decades later.

The vinyl pressing spans three sides for the original album, with the fourth side reserved for the bonus tracks. Retailers will offer several limited-edition color pressings. These include Midnight Nebula from the Evanescence store, Metallic Blue from Craft Recordings, and Sea Glass from Barnes & Noble. Other colors include Ghost Blend, Mercury Blend, and Opaque Ivory.

The new edition arrives this week. Preorders and presaves are currently open for the 20th Anniversary Edition.
