Marion County residents have seen a series of lottery wins this year, with the latest prize awarded at a Dunnellon fuel stop. The Florida Lottery reported that a winning ticket was sold at the Mobil station on 11946 N Williams Street on Wednesday, Oct. 28.

The ticket matched the five numbers drawn that evening, securing a payout of more than $27,000. The official winning numbers for the Oct. 28 drawing were 2, 5, 32, 34, and 35. State records indicate that four tickets across Florida matched all five numbers, with each holder receiving the same prize amount.

Approximately 167 other tickets in the state matched four of the five numbers. Those players each received a payout of $106.50. The Dunnellon ticket is part of a pattern of local wins that has occurred multiple times this year.

In September, a local resident claimed $56,554.23 from a Fantasy 5 ticket bought at a gas station in southwest Ocala. The Publix on SW 86th Avenue has also produced multiple winners. Three separate tickets sold there this year resulted in prizes of $100,000, $100,000, and $34,000.

A Fort Lauderdale resident also purchased a winning ticket in the area. That ticket, bought at an Ocala gas station, was worth $36,000. These results show that Marion County locations continue to sell winning lottery tickets for both local and out-of-area buyers.
