Southern Sky Jewelry & Hats has opened a new retail space at 310 N. Main Street in Buda, adding a locally owned merchant to the historic downtown district. Jeff and Janine Jones, local Buda residents, operate the family business, which combines hat retail with artisan jewelry production.

The store stocks more than 1,000 hats across 100 different styles. Inventory includes models from STETSON and RESISTOL. The shop offers hand-creased custom hat shaping and operates a full-service Hat Bar for customer customization. Janine Roseyl Jones creates the handcrafted jewelry sold on-site.

Southern Sky will hold a grand reopening party on Saturday, November 7, from noon to 4 p.m. The event features in-store specials and giveaways while supplies last. The venue also hosts private events at the Hat Bar, providing a setting for company gatherings and special occasions.

Regular business hours run Tuesday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday and Saturday hours extend to 7 p.m. The shop opens at 11 a.m. and closes at 5 p.m. on Sundays. It remains closed on Mondays. The Buda Economic Development Corporation lists Southern Sky among the businesses contributing to the local commercial sector.

Customers can visit SouthernSkyBuda.com for planning details. The Jones family established the location to offer personalized service and Texas-based craftsmanship to downtown shoppers. The new addition increases the number of locally owned businesses operating in the Buda historic district.
